Extremely well constructed. It achieves what it sets out to very very well. Congratulations!

steampianist responds:

thanks mate

First song I download off of Newgrounds for later leisurely listening.

You're probably tired of Nirvana comparisons, but it really captures a certain bittersweet vibe that was invaluable to Cobain's success.

That said, it's definitely its own thing and deserves its own praises.

Bravo!

motakay responds:

Wow, dude! Thanks alot! Means alot to me to hear! And I could never get tired of to get compared to mr. Cobain, that is like the best compliment! Thank you, thank you , thank you! :)

This does what it sets out to do very very well.

Great track. Very bright, very uplifting, very catchy, very groovy.

Production is also great, though I feel the mix sounds a biiiiiit overcompressed when the full spectrum of synths and sounds come into play. That's my only bit of criticism. Love the track!

EctiBot responds:

Thx man :D. Glad you liked it :). Know what you mean about the sound compression :) I'll look into it.
Thx for reviewing :D.

Ps. Also, I absolutely loved "Shards":D I'll be dropping a review on it in the near future ;).

...

Holy sh**!

I mean, it could use a bit more variation, but what's here is extremely good, very deep and rolls extremely well rhythmically. Fantastic production as well. Congrats!

OmegaP responds:

Thank-you, I did not think that I would get such positive feedback for this.

Very strong piece.

Great production, good amount of variation, great melodies. Can't really find anything to criticize.

More sub-bass? I don't know, I love low ends, but that's just me trying to be nitpicky, hah.

JoshuaHughes responds:

Me too! I was actually very nervous with the <200 hz area, which may have resulted in the sub being a little more quiet than it should be. Thanks!

Chilling melodies and very fitting to the artwork.

Production is also great. Particularly love the reverbs and stereo imaging. It sounds like a concert hall that bleeds into space itself, as cheesy as that sounds.

Fantastic work, can't really find any criticism to throw at it for practical purposes.

Chemiqals responds:

"Sounds like a concert hall that bleeds into space itself"

Cheesy?! My good man, I could only DREAM it would sound like that! ^_^

Thank for for the kind words! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Off the bat this isn't necessarily a style the music that I feel too comfortable reviewing, because it's not really something I listen to regularly.

That being said, this track is fantastic! Very atmospheric, awesome melodies.

Can't really give any constructive critique that hasn't already been expressed, sadly.

Anyway, great track!

AeroMusic responds:

cheers for the review mate - appreciate you taking the time to listen even if it isn't your thang :)

Phenomenal piece. One of the best works I've ever heard from someone on the internet.

Extremely delicate and profound.

Bravo.

newhansen responds:

Thanks. I take that as a good thing, cause the internet is a huge place :)

Great work! It fits the artwork nicely and it sounds tight and well produced. Particularly like the part that starts at 0:53.

YouriX responds:

Heej! Thanks bro. I also like that part xD

Phenomenal work. Very delicate and well paced.
