The progression in this is majestic.

The rock drums go along amazingly well, and I have to say that's a difficult combination to nail.
Captures the sense of hope fantastically.

5/5 - Would play during hero's return to power after dramatic powerlessness.

That's the idea! I'm glad the feelings get across :)

Thanks for listening :3

Love the way 0:51 kicks in. Beautiful transition. Feels very palpable, like the music physically jumps from one point to another.

Great main melody. Bridge provides a nice change in pace.
Awesome work.

I love the way the drums fit in with the rest of the instruments. There's something about the production that feels really right.

Composition is beautiful. Loops nicely as well.

5/5 would unhesitantly use in game if I were a game developer

Great composition, very atmospheric, love the progression.

On the production side, I think throwing on a Hall reverb of sorts would do wonders for the track. Now I know Deserts aren't reverby, so I'm not recommending anything drastic, but it would homogenize the mix quite nicely I think.

Great work!

Fantastic atmosphere. Love the textures and the overall progression.

Thanks!

I enjoyed the atmosphere and overall vibe. Production's quite cool as well!

Love the vibe!

For some reason it reminds me of something that evokes nostalgic feelings, yet I can't, for the life of me, remember what.

Regardless, that just means it has a distinct, recognizable atmosphere.
Vocals are awesome, the lower layer reminds me a bit of Ville Valo (Which, depending on music tastes might be either disappointing or encouraging for you, but I mean it in the best of ways, hah.)

MetalRenard responds:

I'm not sure who Ville Valo is but thanks! I'm glad you like the vocal tone. I wasn't too sure about it, I've never tried it before.

Indeed a wonderful piece. Love the chord progressions and orchestration. The guitars are an extremely fresh touch, as well.

This is damn awesome! Great production kept extremely fresh by the variations in that main synth. Love that divebomb-y ending as well.

Fantastic work! I'm quite taken away when it opens up in the middle section. Very soothing throughout. And it fits the artpiece you chose back during the AIM contest fantastically well.

DamienFleisch responds:

Many thanks!
