Great music and vocals work beautifully together. Very well produced. Intimidating as hell, too!

Lich responds:

I simply can't have this style of track without vocals haha, I've grown too used to doing it now ;3
Thanks for the review and good luck with your entry!

Love the production on this. Dark and punchy. Dramatic and action packed.

5/5 would watch Transformers dish out punches to this.

DESHIEL responds:

Thank you for your kind words Luny. :) I'm sure that your entry will be even better ;)

HOOOOOOOOLY SHHHHHHYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

Ahem.

This is an extremely strong metal sound you have here. I'm very jealous. (What'syoursecret?)

Guitar tone is divine. Drums punch very hard, yet still retain a clean neatness.

Constructive criticism time: Personally I'd add a bit more rumble to the bass. Like in the very low
< 120hz area. Check out Heart of a Coward's "Severance" for reference (best metal bass I know).

Still, this is marvelous as is.
Your playing is tighter than a *censored*...

But your composition trumps it all. Phenomenally written piece.

5/5 - Snatched and added to daily playlist.

P.S.
You don't list a bass guitar under stuff used. Are you using a midi vst for that?

CoredxBitch responds:

wow! thanks for detailed review!
yes, bass is a weak point. I use SR5 in NI Kontakt tru MarkBass VST amp. filling some space in lows, but no dynamics and response like a real bass have. (sorry for my crap english)
thanks again for such a kind words!

The progression in this is majestic.

The rock drums go along amazingly well, and I have to say that's a difficult combination to nail.
Captures the sense of hope fantastically.

5/5 - Would play during hero's return to power after dramatic powerlessness.

lemon42 responds:

That's the idea! I'm glad the feelings get across :)

Thanks for listening :3

Fantastic atmosphere. Love the textures and the overall progression.

SkyeWint responds:

Thanks!

Love the vibe!

For some reason it reminds me of something that evokes nostalgic feelings, yet I can't, for the life of me, remember what.

Regardless, that just means it has a distinct, recognizable atmosphere.
Vocals are awesome, the lower layer reminds me a bit of Ville Valo (Which, depending on music tastes might be either disappointing or encouraging for you, but I mean it in the best of ways, hah.)

MetalRenard responds:

I'm not sure who Ville Valo is but thanks! I'm glad you like the vocal tone. I wasn't too sure about it, I've never tried it before.

Fantastic work! I'm quite taken away when it opens up in the middle section. Very soothing throughout. And it fits the artpiece you chose back during the AIM contest fantastically well.

DamienFleisch responds:

Many thanks!

Upbeat and refreshing! Love the higher melodies.

HappyHype responds:

Thank you sir! :D

Love the composition. Very atmospheric. Personally I'd add an extra layer of reverb on top of everything to emphasize the somewhat mystical undertones; but maybe that's a personal preference thing. Song is fantastic regardless.

AliMaredia responds:

Thanks!

Splendid song! Upbeat, quite soothing and very diverse in production.

AeronMusic responds:

Yep, I like variety in music! Thanks for your nice comment!
