2:!6 - Chills.

Fantastic composition. Very reminiscent of the movie's vibe.

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thanks a lot LunyAlex! For listening to so much of my stuff, and for leaving reviews :D

I'm glad you think that I managed to capture some of the vibe from the movie :')

(About 2:16 - I really like combining a D major with an A minor chord in the high register parts of the piano; it sets a really mysterious [and... Explorative/Exploratory?] mood).

Whoa, this was quite the zerobombing subject, huh?
I despise seeing that kind of score on such a beautiful song.

Great composition. It kinda got me drifting away and picturing scenery from the Halo franchise. It's not necessarily a match in tone, but my mind felt the need to wander off towards dramatic and inspiring imagery.

Towards the later half my mind stopped picturing scenery and went to something more humanly palpable, like a protagonist's struggle.

The production is great. The size of the acoustics is just perfect.

5/5 - Most sincerely, extremely extremely beautiful.

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Hahha, some of my pieces get zerobombed from time to time, but it's nothing to worry about :p
I'm pretty sure it's the audio quality that caused it, along with the fact that this could sound much better. I really should've recorded this piece again with better sound (my skills at playing have developed a lot since this was recorded too), but alas, I've long forgotten how to play this piece XD
Oh well; I kinda like it this way :3

I'm glad you like the composition, as that is the most important part to me :)
It's always good to imagine things while listening to music, isn't it? :D

I get how you pictured a protagonist's struggle towards the end, as the tension is increased a lot :)

I didn't expect anyone to like the production much though! I tried my best to improve it from the raw version, so I'm happy I seem to have succeeded to some extent :')

Thanks a great deal for all the kind words and for the review!
I certainly owe you some good reviews too. I'll make sure to let them come soon ;)

Great stuff. Quite fresh!

The heavy use of vocal samples made me think of the song Frontier Psychiatrist, by The Avalanches even though they're fairly different in vibe. Very well put together! Very soothing and chill song.

Chemiqals responds:

Thanks Alex! Much appreciated! =)

This is some high quality Boss Music. Dynamic and intense and intimidating and damn awesome. The rhythmic lower string parts have the soothing qualities of a great metal riff, hah. Very menacing.

Great work!

SoundChris responds:

Thanks alex! Hm never thought about the connection to metal riffs :D Definitely something i have to check out soon. Glad you enjoyed it bro!

Interesting fusion of elements. Very well produced.

As constructive feedback I'd give the strings a bit more air with some more reverb. Bout it thought.
The dubstep elements are particularly well produced. Totes jealous.

Pandasticality responds:

thanks n__n it took a while to create this, a week or so just to get it to sound clear as i could, thnx for your review Luny :3

Awesomely groovy! Vocals work very well. The melody in the wubs progresses nicely. Great stuff!

SilverFoxJams responds:

Thanks for the feedback on this! Yeah, I'm very happy with how this came out. A remix of this in progress. Still so much work to be done on it! So far it's excellent. I'll eventually post more about it. :)

Very chill and atmospheric. Fits your associated image of it nicely!

SilverFoxJams responds:

Really? I'm glad you think so! I'm very visual-audio, so there's quite a few that tell other stories.

The beginning and the end give it a very authentic feel. The intro sets the mood perfectly.
The composition is majestic and immensely expressive. Very complex, too.

The shift in tone at 1:30 is superb.
The pizzicatos work so well with the piano.
And damn man, that piano.

This emanates the same flavors as the classics did.
Superb work.

SoundChris responds:

Hey man, thank you very much for your kindness! Piano is my comfort zone instrument No.1 and i have played it SO MUCH in my life ... it just bacame a part of me somehow :)

Fantastically harmonious and serene. Fantastic vocals. A complex multi-faceted progression. Awesome, awesome work!

Good luck!

etherealwinds responds:

Thank you!!! ^___^

A very beautiful piece. Romantic and melancholic. I pictured a peaceful countryside sunset, then read your description and liked that better, hah.

Great composition; harmonies stand out.

Jay-Turner responds:

Its nice that you imagined a sunset as that was partly what I imagined as I wrote it :) As is conveyed in the description. Thanks for the review, I am glad you like it :D
