Holy shit! This takes me back to the vibe of 90s alt metal classics so hard!

The vocals really remind me of Chad Gray from Mudvayne; not sure how you'll take that, but I loved that band, hah.

Great stuff.

JacobusMusic responds:

Thank you kind sir ! Yeah mudvayne, loved L.D. 50 !

This is fantastic! The voice at times reminds me of Maynard James Keenan, heh.

Keegs responds:

Dude, I'm honored! hahaha.

Very calming and invigorating. I imagined the intro bit as background music to an artistically executed climactic movie sequence, with ultra-slow-motion shots of key action scenes that are taking place at the same time.

Great piece.

johnfn responds:

Thanks! Yeah I found it really does have that movie-like feeling to it... probably because of the big pianos and overall organic sound of the instrument choices.

Thanks for the review :)

Surprisingly pleasant. I'd enjoy this in a Nintendo game of sorts (Donkey Kong maybe?).

AudioDriver responds:

It would be my dream to make soundtracks for a Nintendo game. Thanks for the great review.

Love the song and progression and punch.

I guess for helpful critique's sake I'd say the mix is a teeny tiny bit overcompressed? Regardless, great tune!

DetiousMusic responds:

Thanks mannn and I get what you mean, it's still a little too crunchy at parts. d:

Fantastic piece. The textures in the piano's tone are truly beautiful as are the melodies invoked. It fits the artwork you chose greatly. Best of luck.

MattBat27 responds:

Thank you so much Luny. It really does inspire me when I hear things like this!

Fantastic track. I love the textures. Wish I could provide some useful critique, but I can't thin of anything ,hah. Initially wanted to say that another mid-frequency focused melody would be cool, but I think that'd be me imagining vocals on the track.

Quite awesome! This sounds like what would happen if Rammstein went surfing, hah. Can't really criticize anything, sadly. The only thing that comes to mind is that I would've had a slightly thinner snare, but that's me really trying to nitpick, hah.

Blacklawn responds:

Drums are probably my eternal weakness, heh. Thanks for the feedback.

I really enjoyed listening to this. Depending on what it would be used I'd probably either add a little rhythmic section or a second synth to compliment it at some point, to keep things alive. If it's meant as mellow to be put in the background then I think it's perfect.

This is some fantastic work. Very tender. Love the textures and overall production.

Not to sound too cliche but I think it'd work great in an RPG as background music for a town/settlement.
